Summary

“Brilliant, hilarious, and oh-so-romantic。” —BuzzFeed
“Swoony, steamy。” —Entertainment Weekly

The Hating Game meets Booksmart by way of Morgan Matson in this unforgettable romantic comedy about two rival overachievers whose relationship completely transforms over the course of twenty-four hours。

Today, she hates him。

It’s the last day of senior year。 Rowan Roth and Neil McNair have been bitter rivals for all of high school, clashing on test scores, student council elections, and even gym class pull-up contests。 While Rowan, who secretly wants to write romance novels, is anxious about the future, she’d love to beat her infuriating nemesis one last time。

Tonight, she puts up with him。

When Neil is named valedictorian, Rowan has only one chance at victory: Howl, a senior class game that takes them all over Seattle, a farewell tour of the city she loves。 But after learning a group of seniors is out to get them, she and Neil reluctantly decide to team up until they’re the last players left—and then they’ll destroy each other。

As Rowan spends more time with Neil, she realizes he’s much more than the awkward linguistics nerd she’s sparred with for the past four years。 And, perhaps, this boy she claims to despise might actually be the boy of her dreams。

Tomorrow…maybe she’s already fallen for him。

this was super cute! Such a sweet book, exactly what I needed and it was so fun that I finished it in one day。

This was so damn cute。 I can’t accurately describe what Today Tonight Tomorrow did to me or what it made me feel, but I can say that it was really really really really good。 Like scary good。 So good that I’m writing this review at 3:32 in the night (morning?) good。 There is so much to love within these 400 pages and not enough words available to convey how much this book made me feel nostalgic for high school (not an easy feat) yet also made me excited to return to campus in the fall and go on s This was so damn cute。 I can’t accurately describe what Today Tonight Tomorrow did to me or what it made me feel, but I can say that it was really really really really good。 Like scary good。 So good that I’m writing this review at 3:32 in the night (morning?) good。 There is so much to love within these 400 pages and not enough words available to convey how much this book made me feel nostalgic for high school (not an easy feat) yet also made me excited to return to campus in the fall and go on some of my own adventures。 It is also amazing how the entire book takes place over a single day and the plot never once lags or loses pace。 I can only dream to have a day as exciting and life changing as Rowan and Neil。 A really important part of Today Tonight Tomorrow was the defence of romance novels as not a guilty pleasure or trash genre, but as legitimate books that bring people joy。 It’s my biggest pet peeve when other people talk down about romance like it’s a lesser genre, even though they’ve never even read 2 pages of a romance novel。 My love of romance, optimism and happily ever afters was hugely reinforced by this book。 Like I said above, this was really really really really really really good。 So good that I pre ordered the authors next book, We Can’t Keep Meeting Like This, and I am actively preparing myself for the feels once again。 。。。more

I honestly adore this book。 I haven’t read YA in a while and I’m still new to the romance genre but this book is adorable。 I loved these super smart and witty teens and the fun senior game that took us around Seattle。 I loved the way it talked about sex for YA and wish I’d been able to read something with this perspective in high school。 I love how the book plays with tropes of romance novels while the narrator herself is so aware of some of it as a budding romance writer herself。 It’s a quick f I honestly adore this book。 I haven’t read YA in a while and I’m still new to the romance genre but this book is adorable。 I loved these super smart and witty teens and the fun senior game that took us around Seattle。 I loved the way it talked about sex for YA and wish I’d been able to read something with this perspective in high school。 I love how the book plays with tropes of romance novels while the narrator herself is so aware of some of it as a budding romance writer herself。 It’s a quick fun read and will make you feel a twinge of nostalgia for a young romance。 。。。more

Out of all the booktok recommendations, I decided to try this one, and I’m proud to say I wasn’t disappointed。 That book sucked me in from the very first few pages。 I loved Rowan’s personality, her dreams, which are very much similar to my own, made me realize that I might be playing it safe。 Rowan’s love for romance novels made me enjoy her character even more。 Rowan Roth was definitely a refreshing heroine that had enough wit and charm to keep one interested。 I wasn’t that particularly interes Out of all the booktok recommendations, I decided to try this one, and I’m proud to say I wasn’t disappointed。 That book sucked me in from the very first few pages。 I loved Rowan’s personality, her dreams, which are very much similar to my own, made me realize that I might be playing it safe。 Rowan’s love for romance novels made me enjoy her character even more。 Rowan Roth was definitely a refreshing heroine that had enough wit and charm to keep one interested。 I wasn’t that particularly interested in Neil but he did grow on me as I started to get a sense of his character and what shaped him to be the way he was。 They make quite the interesting pair those two, and even though I knew from the very first page that those two are endgame, it was still very interesting to read about how they came to acknowledge those feelings。 This definitely won’t be the last book Rachel Lynn Solomon book I read。 。。。more

As someone who doesn’t typically lean towards YA, I wasn’t initially invested in this book until I read the reviews and saw that many people enjoyed this book so I thought "why not give it a try?" And I am so glad I did。 Today Tonight Tomorrow is a YA contemporary romance that makes you feel all the emotions。 I personally love the main character, Rowan, because of how relatable she is in every way。 I also love how this book deals with sentimental things instead of being all insta-love fairytale As someone who doesn’t typically lean towards YA, I wasn’t initially invested in this book until I read the reviews and saw that many people enjoyed this book so I thought "why not give it a try?" usually i hate books that take place in one day because they seem very rushed, but this was very well written, considering it takes place over the course of almost 24 hours (how did they manage to stay awake for so long??)。 i also loved the academic rivals to lovers trope。 both characters were also very lovely and i loved rowan。 overall very cute romance book, would recommend。

One of the most realistic books I've read and I relate to it sO MUCH。 Rowan was so relatable。 Her being the same age as me, in the same phase of life—which is graduating and then college—and of course, her love for romantic novels。 I felt like I just found my fictional kindred spirit 😭😭😭。The story was amazing。 Although it only lasted for about a whole day, there were still a lot that happened。 I felt so connected with the characters because of the same worries they have with college and ending y One of the most realistic books I've read and I relate to it sO MUCH。 Rowan was so relatable。 Her being the same age as me, in the same phase of life—which is graduating and then college—and of course, her love for romantic novels。 I felt like I just found my fictional kindred spirit 😭😭😭。The story was amazing。 Although it only lasted for about a whole day, there were still a lot that happened。 I felt so connected with the characters because of the same worries they have with college and ending years of high school。 I also felt like I didn't do as much as I could during those years but as written in the book, everything changes。 😭😭😭It was a fast-paced love story which added a thrill and I loved it! The characters were unique and I live for them。 Rowan was this ambitious, confident, and opinionated woman。 I loved her and how she spoke about misogyny, anti-Semitism, and racism。 Neil was thoughtful, sweet, and just as confident and ambitious as Rowan。 He was so open and gentle 😩😩。 They pair each other so well I just liked how they both pushed the other to be better。Loved how there was so much diversity in this book regarding race, culture, gender and sexuality, and religion。 I learned so much from this book and it opened me to different societal perspectives。 Thank God for books who educates us on society and spreads awareness to its readers AAAAAAAAA in love 😩🥰 。。。more

Honestly what a cute book to read! I read this while on vacation and I’m so glad I picked it up on a whim。 I absolutely adored the characters and the writing style。 Also, for an enemies to lovers book, the change felt extremely natural。 That being said, the last around three chapters of the book felt like overkill on the lovers part of the trope, and it did distract from the rest of the book to me。 However, this is definitely one of my favorite fluffy reads。

Today Tonight TomorrowI loved The Ex Talk, so I figured I should probably try out an older one by @rlynn_solomon 😊First comment is that this one is YA as compared to The Ex Talk which is adult fiction。 I still loved it even though I don’t always love YA。 The characters weren’t overly juvenile even though they were just finishing up high school and some of their concerns were typical after graduation。 I liked Rowan and Niel’s discussion on their Jewish faith。 Without the dinner scene with her par Today Tonight TomorrowI loved The Ex Talk, so I figured I should probably try out an older one by @rlynn_solomon 😊First comment is that this one is YA as compared to The Ex Talk which is adult fiction。 I still loved it even though I don’t always love YA。 The characters weren’t overly juvenile even though they were just finishing up high school and some of their concerns were typical after graduation。 I liked Rowan and Niel’s discussion on their Jewish faith。 Without the dinner scene with her parents, it would have just seemed like a move to get more diversity points, but the dinner made it seem more genuine。 The only part that I didn’t totally love was the speed at which it went from Hate to Love。 The depth that they found in the relationship seemed a bit far fetched for just getting started。 Still such a quick good YA book! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 。。。more
